For almost seventy years the Buford Housing Authority has provided affordable, safe and decent homes to families and individuals. Today we have 189 apartments in seven developments in four cities and pride ourselves with the homes we provide to low-income families.

Mission Statement

To provide, maintain and encourage quality affordable housing for individuals and families in our communities with an emphasis on promoting financial self-sufficiency and partnering with our governments in encouraging community-minded neighborhood redevelopment.

Due to the high demand and the maximum volume of applications received on Monday, November 28th for our Public Housing program, Buford Housing Authority has closed its waiting list, and no applications will be accepted until further notice. Please refer to this website periodically for updated information about the waiting list opening.
